Job Description

Do you have a passion for training, performance, and a keen eye for quality? We are looking for a Quality and Development Officer to join our dedicated team in Cannington WA. While based in Joondalup, this role will also cover multiple employment service areas (ESA) in the North Metro Region. This is a unique opportunity to drive excellence, mentor a diverse group of professionals, and make a real difference in people's lives.

In this role, you will be the champion of our team’s success.

You will:

  • Train & Develop: Create and deliver tailored training plans for new hires, mentoring them to success and helping them master skills like reverse marketing.
  • Ensure Quality: Conduct audits and develop operational documents to ensure our services not only meet but exceed industry and contractual standards.
  • Monitor & Report: Analyse team performance against KPIs, providing clear reports and actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate & Engage: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders—including employers, community partners, and program participants—to build strong relationships and ensure smooth program delivery.

Training Alliance Group (TAG) is a leading provider of employment services and vocational education in Western Australia, including managing two RTOs - Australian Business and Vocational Training and Mining Transport and Construction Services. TAG is committed to providing quality education and training, and creating meaningful employment outcomes for individuals, with a strong focus on inclusion and support for people with disability.

The organisation currently manages government contracts including Workforce Australia, Employability Skills Training, Self Employment Assistance, Transition to Work and Parent Pathways as well as delivering youth services, First Nations and social inclusion initiatives.

 

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a proven ability to motivate others, a talent for clear communication, and a track record of achieving performance targets. You should be proficient with case management systems and have a positive, flexible attitude. Experience in employment services or disability support is a plus.
