Ready to elevate careers and improve lives? We are looking for a Learning and Development Officer to join our team!

In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of our Employment Services program. You won’t just be managing quality; you will be building it from the ground up. You will develop learning guides and tools, train and mentor new team members, and ensure every participant gets the best chance at success.

You will take the lead on:

  • Conducting audits and monitoring to ensure we meet and exceed contractual standards.
  • Developing and delivering training that equips new team members with the skills they need to excel.
  • Mentoring staff and helping them build critical skills like reverse marketing.
  • Providing hands-on support to help participants overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals.

Training Alliance Group (TAG) is a leading provider of employment services and vocational education in Western Australia, including managing two RTOs - Australian Business and Vocational Training and Mining Transport and Construction Services. TAG is committed to providing quality education and training, and creating meaningful employment outcomes for individuals, with a strong focus on inclusion and support for people with disability.

The organisation currently manages government contracts including Workforce Australia, Employability Skills Training, Self Employment Assistance, Transition to Work and Parent Pathways as well as delivering youth services, First Nations and social inclusion initiatives.

Who We are Looking For

You are a natural leader with a proven track record in a similar role. You have a deep understanding of employment programs and are passionate about helping people.

You have:

  • Exceptional assessment and communication skills with the ability to connect with young people from diverse backgrounds, including Indigenous youth.
  • Strong time management and a history of hitting KPIs. You know how to get the job done efficiently and effectively.
  • A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine commitment to making a difference.
  • A solid understanding of Employment Services DEED requirements.

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a proven ability to motivate others, a talent for clear communication, and a track record of achieving performance targets. You should be proficient with case management systems and have a positive, flexible attitude. Experience in employment services is a plus.
