Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for people and a deep understanding of the Employment Services sector? We are looking for an experienced Claims Manager to lead our centralised claims team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our team not only meets, but exceeds, contractual obligations and performance targets while fostering a supportive and high-performance culture.
What You will Do
- Provide strong leadership to the claims team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Oversee staff performance by conducting regular reviews, setting clear goals, and managing performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of contractual and legislative requirements, including Outcome and Documentary Evidence Guidelines.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the team, focusing on time management and efficiency to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
What You Will Bring
- You have a proven track record in the Employment Services sector and a strong ability to meet key performance targets.
- You know how to effectively lead and manage a team, provide clear feedback, set goals, and drive performance.
- You can communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, and engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- You have excellent time management skills and are adept at managing daily tasks and meeting deadlines.
- You possess strong IT and administrative skills, with experience using electronic Document Management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar claims management or leadership role.
- A satisfactory National Police Check and a current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
