Job Description

           

Quality

  • Conducting audits in line with the Program Audit schedule
  • Develop and maintain operational documents/standards that are in line with contractual requirements that will provide new team members with the resources to become competent in their role which would be a suite of learning guides and/or tools that ES team members can access.
  • Develop individualized training plans to support new team members that commence employment with TAG
  • Deliver training to new team members and manage their Training Plan from day one to the end of probation, providing regular weekly updates on their performance.
  • Undertake desktop monitoring and assess against internal policies and procedures, that are also in line with the relevant Employment Services DEED.
  • Providing written reports to reflect the performance of individual and the program.

            Location This position will support sites across the Perth metropolitan area

            

Development

  • Ensure that ES team members have an understanding of their role and how it impacts the performance of the employment program.
  • Develop the reverse marketing skills of team members to be able to confidently reverse market participants to employers.
  • Identify and coordinate delivery of assistance for participants that will improve their employment prospects – through building self-esteem, facilitating access to non- vocational interventions, access to activities at the site and job matching.
  • All team members have a solid understanding of the program contractual requirements, which can be reflected in ongoing monitoring.
  • Mentor ES team members to ensure that tasks are completed in line with the requirements of the relevant program DEED.
  • Provide advice and support to staff to ensure the complete servicing of the Participants.
  • Work with ES team to develop and implement appropriate activities for participants to satisfy the requirements of the DEED and ensure the participant is provided the best opportunity for employment and/or meeting their goals.
  • Assist ES staff to market and place TtW Participants into suitable employment or education.
  • Assist all employment service programs with monitoring to ensure services provided will meet contractual standards and achieve desired performance results.
  • Be available to work at various sites when required by management.
  • Provide operational coverage as requested.

Selection Criteria:

                Competencies

  • Proven comprehensive and effective assessment skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate small groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with young people from a range of backgrounds including youth and Indigenous youth.
  • A proven track record of achieving KPIs and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely to suit the purpose e.g. case notes, reports, etc.
  • Sound Information Technology and administration skills.
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, flexibility, and positive attitude in working with young participants to achieve outcomes.

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • In depth knowledge of the Performance Framework for all programs
  • Experience with electronic document management systems is desirable
  • A satisfactory National Police Check and a current Working With Children Check
