Job Description

Parent Pathways Mentor
Belmont ,Cannington and Rockingham | Full-time, Permanent

Make a real difference in the lives of local families, and build a career you're proud of.

Are you someone who genuinely cares about helping parents and caregivers thrive? Do you want a job where the work you do actually changes lives, not just ticks boxes? If so, we want to hear from you.

Training Alliance Group (TAG) is looking for a passionate Parent Pathways Mentor to join our team supporting families across Belmont, Cannington, Rockingham, and surrounding suburbs. This is more than a case management role. It's a chance to walk alongside parents and caregivers as they take real, practical steps towards brighter futures for themselves and their kids.

Why you'll love this role

  • See the impact of your work, every day. You'll help people move from feeling stuck to feeling capable, whether that's through education, employment, or simply getting the right support in place.
  • No two days are the same. You'll work flexibly, creatively, and holistically, tailoring your approach to each family's unique goals and circumstances.
  • Be part of something bigger. You'll build genuine partnerships with local community organisations, becoming a trusted connector for families across the area.
  • Work with a team that has your back. TAG is a supportive, values-driven organisation where empathy and integrity aren't just words on a wall, they're how we actually work.
  • Stability and purpose. This is a full-time, permanent role, so you can build a long-term career doing work that matters.

What you'll do

  • Deliver person-centred case management for parents and caregivers of young children
  • Look at the whole picture, addressing both vocational and non-vocational needs
  • Guide people towards their own goals, connecting them with the right internal and external services
  • Build strong relationships with local services and organisations across Belmont, Cannington, and Perth South
  • Create a warm, welcoming, child-friendly space where families feel comfortable
  • Bring empathy, patience, and genuine care to every single interaction

Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll bring

  • Experience in case management, community services, or a related human services field
  • A real passion for supporting parents, caregivers, and families
  • Great people skills and the ability to build trust quickly
  • A flexible, can-do approach to problem-solving
  • Current WA Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • A valid WA driver's licence
